You will return home with an armful or two of plants which are proven to thrive locally. You will also have the knowledge to make your own low-cost organic mixes, and so be able to grow as many plants as you desire, year-round, and at very little cost.

Once you have learned these simple techniques you will be able to choose from a dizzying array of stock plants from your home garden, those of friends, neighbours - and you can share those cherished family varieties and build up your own collection of tasty heritage fruits and herbs. Propagating your own plants saves you MONEY and its heaps of FUN!  

You will also learn the skills needed to ‘grow on’ your successfully propagated plants until they are ready for planting out in the garden.  Aftercare includes potting-on, watering, fertilising and ensuring pest and disease-free conditions for strong healthy plants.
