Join me at Annelies’s bountiful Permaculture Garden in Macandrew Bay for an afternoon exploring design ideas and techniques for growing successfully in an unheated glass or plastic greenhouse in our cooler climate. We’ll cover everything from site selection, bed layout, soil care and irrigation, to suitable crops, varieties and planting schedules, to pest and disease management and micro-green growing - and more!. If you need some inspiration and support to get that greenhouse frame out of storage and into year-round production, this class is for you!
We’ll tour Annelies’s amazing 100m2 indoor paradise. Learn how she brings together citrus, tomatoes, grapes, herbs, micro-greens, year round vegetables - and chickens - to produce a diverse and bountiful four season harvest.
We’ll be focusing on winter growing techniques, and crops which will see you through until early summer.
